I'd like to be able to see the home network in the barn. I was thinkiong that if I could connect a router in bridge mode to the client EZ-Bridge via an ethernet cable it might extend the home network. I might not pursue that possibility further until I hear from Tycon, the manufacturer of the EZ-Bridge. I have asked them for advice.
You are right that the docs for that old router say nothing about bridge mode. However in the setup menu there is the Wireless Repeating Function menu item. It has an explanatory note about using the router in bridge mode.
I have attached a screen grab. I hope you can read it. Improbable as it may seem, I'd never heard of it. As usual, an actual model number might be more helpful than just a name. Is this it? If that's the case, then what you'd want to do is configure the remote router as a wireless access point, and let the EZ-Bridge gizmos connect that WAP to your main router.
I don't know what that means, and my attempts to find any actual documentation on those gizmos didn't get far. If you have any links to actual manuals, then I'd be willing to look. There's a step-by-step guide to configure almost any router as a WAP:. Do your "two wireless IP cameras" also offer wired Ethernet connections? If so, then it might make some sense to configure the EZ-Bridge gizmos as a point-to-point bridge as above , connect the remote gizmo to a simple cheap network switch, and run Ethernet cables from the switch to the cameras.

I was able to simply name the network from the EZ-Bridge the same aas my home network I was cautious about doing that for fear of introducing a conflict but Tycon told me it was OK. I did so and now can connect to the home network in the barn.
